Mission Statement
Our Mission
To provide and enable the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, speech disabled and Deafened people to communicate with Hearing people via Internet Relay and to provide leadership and communication services to the citizens of the United Kingdom. Also to deliver relay service with real-time telephone features just like those which Hearing people use; services that help you easily manage your telephone calls.
We call it European Relay Services and it will:
- Save you time without using 'Go ahead'!
- Be easy and friendly to use.
- Impress the person you're calling with a professional approach and a local ERS phone number.
- Let you manage your telephone call history and transcripts in one place.
- Secure, encrypt, and back up your data.
- Be available 24/7 from anywhere in the World with any internet enabled computer.
- Be provided by a Deaf-led Relay Telephone Company, the first one in the World!
Our Priorities
In executing the following priorities, we will produce and use feedback to provide our clients and the Citizens of the United Kingdom with freedom of choice for their communication via the Internet and Mobile.
- To be able to communicate freely.
- To be able to make outgoing calls from internet-enabled mobile phone.
- To be able to receive incoming calls via our software..
- To be able to access services provided by a Deaf-managed company.
- Protect civil rights of our customers and non-customers.
- To push the general public and private organisations alike to become aware of your rights.
- To fund our Lab Centre to research the latest Technology.
We Believe:
Making a telephone call using 'GA' is very stressful and difficult as it is not how a natural conversation flows, whether you're hearing, Deaf, Hard of Hearing or speach impaired. We believe that our system should be easy, fast and detailed (perhaps even fun!) so that both you and the person you're calling can make a comfortable and stress free call.
Billing should be simple and easy to control. You will receive a detailed record of your call just a few seconds after completing your telephone call and your invoice will also be updated with a summary of this information.
Your data deserves to be safe, secure, and accessible to you. We also believe you own your data, not us and as a result, we have no access to it. Your data will be easy to sort and manage anyway you want.
Every customer should be able to make a professional call without having to explain to a hearing person how to contact them using complicated systems or special prefix or national phone numbers which can discourage people from calling back. Our solution is that you have your own local telephone number anywhere in the UK and our service is simple and easy to use regardless of your hearing status.
Everyone is entitled to the latest version of our software. No matter what kind of account you have with us, you will get the latest upgrades and newest innovations.
Our Locations
Literally, we work around the globe. Along with our Headquarters in London, England.

Why “ERS”?
Marcus Turley, the CEO and founder of ERS, decided to name his company “European Relay Service” simply because we are the first Internet Relay provider in the European Union to provide Internet telecommunication services across the EU. Plus, Marcus is very proud to be a European man!
